We’re proud to announce that Meliora Cleaning Products is included on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies for 2026! This is our second year in a row on the list.
Meliora Cleaning Products ranked 3,007 out of 5,000 by percentage of total growth with a three-year revenue growth of 102% from 2022 to 2025. Last year, we ranked 3,443 with a revenue growth of 113% over three years. We also ranked 197 in consumer products and 134 in Illinois for 2026, compared to 131 in consumer products and 167 in Illinois for 2025.
Meliora Cleaning Products co-founder Mike Mayer celebrated our second year making the list:
One of the most satisfying things about making a return to Inc. 5000 in 2026 is that we didn’t do anything different. We focused on building an amazing manufacturing team at our living wage factory in Chicago and making products that continue to be better for people and the planet. No pivot from making things to making AI, no selling out to private equity to grow at all costs.
And my favorite part? People love what we do, and we love our customers for it. Thank you to everyone who makes this happen every day: Our front-line team that makes and ships everything, our partners, and the amazing people around the country that buy our products. None of this is possible without any of them.
Mike’s words reflect the thoughts shared by our founder Kate Jakubas in 2025, when we were first recognized:
Usually a list like ‘fastest growing companies’ would call to mind a well-funded tech startup; something with tremendous scale and resources. We are a family-owned manufacturing company with no outside investors, and our growth has come entirely from the work of our amazing team members and our customers, who keep coming back and sharing how much they love our products with their friends. We are very pleased to be able to grow at this scale without compromising on sustainability.
This year’s Inc. 5000 honorees are creating jobs, redefining what growth looks like, and proving that entrepreneurial ambition continues to fuel the U.S. economy.
Mike Hofman, editor-in-chief of Inc., praised the companies included, saying:
Every company on the Inc. 5000 has a story of perseverance, smart decision making, and a refusal to sit still. Their growth reflects more than strong financial performance—it reflects creativity, resilience, and the customer focus required to build companies that make a lasting impact. We congratulate all honorees on this significant achievement.
What is Inc. 5000?
Inc. 5000 is an annual ranking of the fastest growing private companies in the United States. The list provides a data-driven snapshot of the most successful companies within the economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent, entrepreneurial businesses. Past honorees include companies such as Microsoft, Meta, Chobani, Under Armour, Timberland, Oracle, and Patagonia.
What are the criteria for inclusion on the list?
Companies on the Inc. 5000 list are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from the past three years. For 2026, growth was measured from 2022 to 2025.
To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2022. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2025. The minimum revenue required for 2022 is $100,000; the minimum for 2025 is $2 million.
