Vinegar - A Better Laundry Softener

White vinegar makes a great laundry softener. 

 
It’s cheap, effective, fragrance-free, and takes out dozens of chemicals from both your laundry and the wastewater you’re sending to your city and the environment. Maybe the best news, though, is how easy it is to switch from your current softener to using vinegar.

Two simple steps are all it takes:

1. Finish a bottle of ‘regular’ laundry softener.
2. Refill the bottle using plain white vinegar.

That’s it! Relabeling the bottle is always a good idea too.
