How to Use Dish Soap
Full Usage Instructions-
Place soap on a dish or counter near your sink
Use a soap dish, mug, or coaster to catch excess water. You can also wet the bottom of the soap and stick it to your sink or counter in a place that drains easily.
-
Rub a wet sponge or brush over soap to lather
Get a sponge, dish brush, or clean cloth wet and rub it over the top of the dish soap. Be sure to work up a good lather before applying to dishes so soap can wash away fully.
-
Clean dirty dishes with soapy sponge or brush
Scrub your dirty dishes with the soapy sponge, brush, or cloth. You may need to scrub harder than you would with liquid soap. To soak extra dirty dishes, just run the dish soap under running water.
Why Solid Dish Soap Is Better

Everything You Need to Clean Your Home
-
Made with Safer Ingredients
Our dish soap bar is MADE SAFE® Certified, meaning it meets the strictest ingredient screening requirement in the industry. We prioritize the health of both people and the planet in our ingredient choices.
This vegan dish soap is made from organic coconut oil- and sunflower oil-based soap and is available unscented or scented with organic lemon essential oil. It is synthetic fragrance-free, preservative-free, dye-free, and palm oil-free.
-
Designed and Packaged Sustainably
By making a solid dish soap bar, we eliminate the need for added preservatives or single-use plastic.
Solid dish soap bars are more concentrated than liquid dish soap, making them more energy- and cost-effective to ship to you. They also take up less space in your home—each bar is only 2.6 inches wide by 2.25 inches tall.

People- and Planet-Friendly
People- and Planet-Friendly
We aim to make the best cleaning products we can with people and the planet in mind. “People- and planet-friendly” is our shorthand for that goal and the decisions and practices we make to support it. We use the terms “sustainable” and “sustainably” in a similar way to describe our products and practices.
We give specific examples to back up these phrases whenever we can, including factual descriptions of ingredients and packaging, company practices, and third-party certifications that hold us accountable.
Plastic-Free
Plastic-Free
Plastic-free means that the finished product contains no plastic in the ingredients and packaging.
While we design our finished products to eliminate as much plastic as possible, plastic may still be used in other parts of the product life cycle, such as the supply chain and manufacturing processes. For instance, raw materials may arrive at our factory in plastic shipping materials, and our team members use plastic gloves when handling chemicals during soapmaking.
Safer Ingredients
Safer Ingredients
Conventional cleaning products pose numerous health risks for people and the planet. We provide safer alternatives made with ingredients, materials, and processes that minimize negative impact.
We value third-party screenings that help us verify that our products meet our high standards for safety. Our products are MADE SAFE® Certified for ingredient safety.
