Meliora Cleaning Products’ Sustainability Report for 2019

We are ridiculously proud to present to you our first-ever Sustainability Report. We have been in business for almost seven years, but this is our first take on encapsulating all of our achievements and processes in one place.

In 2019, we managed to hit our goal of reducing our waste by 10% over 2018 and we actively participated in the Chemical Footprint Project. In 2020, we’re hoping to reduce our manufacturing waste by another 10% and eliminate an all-time total of over 1 million single-use plastic bottles from the planet through our responsible packaging design.

This chart represents the emissions saved by avoiding plastic packaging through Meliora Cleaning Products. In 2019 alone, we prevented over 60,000 kg of CO2e from being released into the atmosphere by eliminating the need to produce all that plastic. Fun fact: the environmental impact from the amount of plastic we avoided in 2019 was equivalent to switching 2,316 incandescent light bulbs to LEDs.
